Starfish Space is a venture-backed aerospace company founded in 2019 that has raised over $150M to develop Otter, an advanced autonomous satellite servicing vehicle. Otter performs critical missions including life extension for geostationary satellites and orbital debris removal for low Earth orbit satellites, serving customers like SES, the U.S. Space Force, the Space Development Agency, and NASA. As VP of Supply Chain, you will own the end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution for Otter satellite production and delivery. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing all aspects of hardware procurement, vendor management, and logistics to ensure spacecraft are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to flight-quality standards. Key responsibilities include: overseeing the complete Starfish supply chain across Otter programs; identifying, communicating, and driving resolution of supply chain risks related to schedule, cost, and quality; owning supplier quality management and continuous improvement initiatives; building and maintaining executive-level relationships with strategic suppliers; and partnering cross-functionally across engineering, manufacturing, and program management to ensure successful hardware delivery. You will work in a fast-paced startup environment with experienced aerospace engineers and operators. The role requires managing complex hardware supply chains, critical vendor relationships, and manufacturing environments. You'll use supply chain management tools and systems to drive visibility and execution. Required: U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; college degree or equivalent in engineering, supply chain, operations, or related field; 5+ years managing complex hardware supply chains; ability to thrive in a startup setting. ITAR compliance required (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for State Department authorization).
