Curri is an on-demand, last-mile logistics platform for construction and adjacent industries, founded in 2018 and part of YC S19. The company operates a nationwide fleet and is building AI-native software to automate dispatch, routing, pricing, and support decisions. As VP of Product, you will lead and scale the product organization during a critical growth phase. Your core responsibilities include: **Vision & Strategy**: Set and own Curri's product vision and roadmap, with a focus on embedding AI natively into core workflows rather than as an add-on feature. Work with the executive team to translate company strategy into a focused, prioritized product plan. **AI-First Product Development**: Architect AI integration so it quietly powers dispatch, routing, pricing, and support decisions within existing workflows. Own quality for AI-driven features, including evals, failure modes, cost, latency, and customer guardrails. Set the bar for how the PM team works with AI—prototyping with AI tools and moving from idea to working demo in days. **ROI Discipline**: Bake ROI rigor into the roadmap by valuing every opportunity and prioritizing against it. For automation features, quantify the operational work removed. Define success metrics before building, instrument what ships, and compare actual results against original estimates to sharpen future sizing. **Customer Engagement**: Stay close to customers to understand workflows and decisions the platform must power. Run customer advisory boards, participate in key account conversations, and evangelize the roadmap. Get on strategic sales calls, run product demos, handle objections directly, and help shape enterprise commitments. Bring win/loss patterns back into the roadmap. **Team Leadership**: Lead and grow the product management team from three PMs today toward four to six. Spend most of your time on leadership and cross-functional work with Engineering, Growth, Operations, and the exec team. Partner with Engineering as a true thought partner on trade-offs and execution. **Requirements**: - 10+ years in product, including 4+ years managing product managers, with a track record of growing into product leadership where the title reflected real scope - Strong conviction as a product visionary; form clear points of view grounded in customer evidence and hold them steady against competing priorities - Real energy for customer-facing work: running advisory boards, pitching roadmaps alongside Sales, leaving customers excited about what is coming - Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles (demos, objections, RFPs, security/integration reviews) with a track record of helping close deals without overcommitting the roadmap - Business and ROI rigor: experience building business cases for product investments and using opportunity sizing to make and defend prioritization calls - Strong product analytics instincts; ability to define metrics that matter, pull data from tools like PostHog or SQL, and run experiments and staged rollouts independently - Shipped AI or ML features to production that users experienced as part of the product, and stayed with them through evals, edge cases, and adoption - Personal fluency with current AI tools; use them daily, build prototypes yourself, and have opinions on what is hype versus leverage - Hands-on leadership style pairing executive communication and cross-functional influence with willingness to roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team **Bonus**: Product leadership at a marketplace company; built agentic or automation products in operations-heavy domains (logistics, marketplaces, field services); built or scaled a product org at similar growth stage; brought new discipline (ROI modeling, opportunity sizing) to a product team that lacked it. **What you get**: Real space to shape an AI-native platform roadmap with big bets in automation, internationalization, and vertical expansion. Opportunity to build and scale the PM team as a true peer to Engineering and Growth leadership. Competitive salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401K). Remote-friendly with preference for Ventura, CA office presence.
