inKind is a restaurant discovery and rewards platform that connects diners with exceptional restaurants across the country. The company operates through autonomous Pods—small, cross-functional teams that own business outcomes from idea to impact.
This Pod Member role is a builder and operator position spanning Product, Growth, AI, and Strategy. You will not manage a traditional backlog; instead, you'll identify opportunities, analyze data, shape solutions, work directly with engineers, launch products, and measure results to determine what scales, changes, or stops.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own a Pod objective and take responsibility for moving the metrics behind it
- Turn broad business problems into clear priorities and executable plans
- Decide what matters most and keep the Pod focused on highest-impact work
- Bring the right people together and drive decisions when answers aren't obvious
- Spot blockers, risks, and opportunities early and act on them
- Challenge assumptions and push toward simpler, faster solutions
- Stay close to customers and restaurant partners to understand real problems
- Measure post-launch results and determine scaling, changes, or stopping points
- Step outside your functional lane when required to achieve outcomes
- Create momentum and own measurable results
Example Pod problems include increasing active users and engagement, improving restaurant discovery and personalization, helping restaurant partners acquire customers and grow revenue, improving restaurant onboarding, building AI-powered experiences, and testing new products and growth opportunities.
You'll operate across Product, Engineering, Data, AI, Growth, B2C, B2B, and commercial strategy with unusually broad ownership. The role reports to a Pod Lead and is based in Austin, TX, primarily in-person.

- Technical: working deeply with Engineering and understanding technical tradeoffs
- Data: using data to find opportunities, make decisions, and measure impact
- Growth: acquisition, conversion, engagement, retention, and experimentation

- B2C + B2B: understanding both consumer behavior and business/partner needs
- AI: using AI to prototype, automate, analyze, and build faster
