Conga is seeking a VP, Head of Engineering for India to lead strategic direction and execution of AI initiatives across the organization, with a focus on Quality Engineering. You will build and lead a high-performing engineering team driving AI innovations in Quality Engineering and Quality Assurance, translating innovation opportunities into actionable roadmaps and deploying cutting-edge AI solutions that drive business growth.
In this role, you will own the Quality department and drive end-to-end quality guardrails for Conga's complete product portfolio. You will transform QE teams through AI and automation-led improvement strategies, establish scalable quality frameworks, modernize test strategy, and embed AI-enabled quality signals across the software development lifecycle. You will champion responsible AI adoption within QE by defining governance, success metrics, and operating rhythms that ensure AI-driven automation improves engineering velocity without compromising reliability, compliance, or speed.
You will define, manage, and optimize a comprehensive AI strategy, leading development and deployment of AI solutions in Quality Engineering while ensuring the team focuses on the right priorities and optimizes resources. You will stay current on AI industry trends, compliance, governance, ethical AI, and data privacy to identify creative solutions and drive product value.
As a builder of talent, you will identify changing talent needs, recruit and retain top talent, and serve as an effective coach, mentor, and ally. You will empower others to drive continuous growth and development of a global team, engaging and influencing others to drive mission, vision, values, and strategies.
Ideal candidates bring 15+ years of experience as an Engineering Leader with 20+ years total in the software industry. Experience with Revenue Lifecycle Management software (CPQ & CLM) platforms, SaaS landscape, and product development is highly valued. You are a clear, deliberate, and collaborative communicator who initiates collaborative discussions and ensures messages are understood without ambiguity. You report to the Chief Technology Officer.
