Salary: USD 170,000 - 220,000 / annual

Moody's is seeking a VP-level DevOps Engineer to lead enterprise DevOps and AI platform strategy at a global leader in ratings and integrated risk assessment. This is an executive-level role responsible for owning the foundational infrastructure powering Moody's internal AI solutions and shared services ecosystem. You will define and execute enterprise DevOps and AI platform strategy, establishing standards, governance, and operating models for cloud infrastructure across the organization. Key responsibilities include serving as a senior technical advisor on cloud, DevOps, and AI platform capabilities; leading DevOps for development and testing environments; driving Infrastructure as Code adoption using Terraform; and overseeing managed Kubernetes environments (Azure Kubernetes Service, AWS) to ensure resilience and enhance developer experience. You will own the foundational AI platform supporting enterprise tools and assume operational ownership of Moody's Copilot infrastructure. Additional responsibilities include hosting and maintaining an MCP discovery tool enabling AI agent reuse, partnering with AI and product teams to operationalize evaluation and monitoring, and leading organizational transition of Copilot into Shared Services Technology Solutions Group. The ideal candidate brings executive-level experience leading DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering teams in large enterprise environments. Required expertise includes deep experience with managed Kubernetes platforms, hands-on proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code, strong background supporting AI or data-driven platforms in production, and demonstrated leadership driving complex platform transitions across organizational boundaries. You should have proven ability to build scalable, secure, and repeatable DevOps practices, deep expertise in AI with a track record of implementing advanced AI solutions, and strong experience using AI tools to lead innovation initiatives. Demonstrated leadership in managing AI-related risks, ensuring ethical governance, and fostering responsible AI adoption is essential. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field is required.
