Ethos Life is a leading life insurance technology company transforming how life insurance is bought, sold, and underwritten through a three-sided platform serving consumers, agents, and carriers. The company seeks a Video Production Lead to own and scale video production operations across performance marketing, UGC shoots, and direct response TV campaigns. This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role for someone who has built production frameworks from the ground up. You will scope projects, build timelines and budgets, coordinate talent and locations, manage logistics, and execute through to finished assets. You'll partner closely with creative directors, growth marketers, production companies, and freelancers, turning creative briefs into executable production plans. Key responsibilities include: owning video projects end-to-end from brief through final delivery; leading pre-production activities (casting, locations, crew, permits); managing high-volume asset versioning across formats and channels; running compliance reviews on creative assets; partnering with editors and post-production vendors; serving as primary stakeholder contact throughout projects; managing relationships with external production vendors and freelancers; drafting and negotiating contracts and statements of work; sourcing and vetting new production partners; tracking usage rights and licensing for talent; juggling multiple concurrent projects; identifying process improvements; and supporting creative operations in daily tasks. You bring 8+ years of video production experience with a track record of owning shoots from concept through delivery. You have experience negotiating vendor contracts, SOWs, and talent usage agreements, plus an existing network of production partners you can activate quickly. You're comfortable operating in ambiguity, moving fast without sacrificing quality, and have working knowledge of production and post-production processes including casting, locations, crew, editing, and motion tools. You communicate exceptionally well across creative and operational contexts, have a collaborative mindset, and are genuinely curious about what makes video perform. Experience with AI tools and building AI workflows to improve production efficiency is valued. You're an operations-minded person who shifts seamlessly between creative operations and video production.
