Reporting directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, this role owns Direct and Indirect Procurement, Contract Manufacturing Sourcing, and Supplier Performance Management across the company's global operations. Key Responsibilities: Global Sourcing & Procurement Strategy: Lead Sol de Janeiro's global Direct and Indirect Procurement organization, developing sourcing strategies that balance cost, quality, service, innovation, capacity, risk, and speed. Own sourcing strategy across all externally sourced materials and components supporting finished goods, including packaging and raw materials. Develop and maintain category and supplier strategies ensuring access to competitive capabilities, economics, capacity, and geographic options. Lead competitive sourcing, RFQ/RFP processes, commercial negotiations, contracting, and supplier selection across the global supply base. Establish fact-based negotiation capabilities leveraging market intelligence, cost drivers, competitive benchmarks, and spend analytics. Partner with cross-functional Supply Chain teams to identify and execute value engineering and cost-productivity opportunities. Deliver productivity savings aligned with annual operating plans and establish disciplined tracking processes. Manage sourcing performance through KPIs including PPV, cost savings, cost avoidance, payment terms, supplier risk, and innovation timeline support. Innovation & New Product Sourcing: Serve as the senior sourcing leader supporting Sol de Janeiro's innovation and commercialization agenda, ensuring Procurement is engaged early to influence sourcing strategy, economics, capacity, and launch readiness. Lead sourcing and commercial negotiations for new products, materials, and packaging components, including supplier identification, RFQs, competitive benchmarking, and pricing negotiation. Partner closely with Product & Innovation and Technical Packaging to ensure new products achieve target sourced costs while supporting product, quality, brand, and timeline requirements. Establish sourcing plans aligned with new product development milestones and ensure supplier commercial activities are completed on time to support aggressive innovation and launch timelines. Create visibility to sourcing risks, commercial decisions, supplier constraints, cost pressures, and capacity requirements early in the commercialization process. Contract Manufacturing Strategy & Performance: Own Sol de Janeiro's global contract manufacturing network strategy, working in close partnership with Product & Innovation and Planning to ensure the network has the capabilities, capacity, geographic footprint, economics, and resilience required to support the business. Serve as a key stakeholder in the evaluation and selection of new contract manufacturing partners, bringing commercial, capacity, network, risk, and long-term strategic perspectives. Own the ongoing commercial relationship with contract manufacturers, including commercial agreements, cost structures, capacity commitments, and productivity expectations. Lead contract manufacturer performance management across cost and productivity, capacity management, business continuity, and continuous improvement. Establish and lead a structured supplier governance model. The successful leader will bring both commercial rigor and a partnership mindset—setting high expectations, negotiating from a position of knowledge, holding suppliers accountable for performance, and building relationships in which both Sol de Janeiro and strategic partners can succeed. This role requires a leader who can build for the future while delivering results today: strengthening sourcing capabilities, supporting an ambitious innovation pipeline, continuously improving the cost structure, and ensuring the global supplier and manufacturing network is ready for the next stage of Sol de Janeiro's growth.
