PSD Citywide is a PE-backed GovTech SaaS company providing Enterprise Asset Management, maintenance management, and planning solutions to Local, First Nations, and Regional Governments across North America. The Vice President, Marketing is a strategic executive role reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer and serving on the Senior Leadership Team. This leader will own the company's integrated marketing and business development strategy, team, and execution, connecting corporate strategy to a measurable go-to-market (GTM) engine that strengthens market position, generates qualified pipeline, and supports revenue growth in municipal and government markets. Key responsibilities include: **Marketing & GTM Strategy:** Develop and execute integrated marketing and GTM strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives. Translate company strategy into clear market positioning, messaging, campaigns, and demand-generation priorities. Build brand, market presence, thought leadership, and competitive positioning within GovTech SaaS. Develop strategies for customer acquisition, expansion, retention, and new market entry. Partner with CRO, Sales, Professional Services, Product, and Customer Success to create coordinated customer journey and revenue engine. **Leadership:** Provide overall leadership to Marketing and Business Development teams, including organizational structure, talent development, priorities, and performance. Establish clear goals, KPIs, accountability, and operating rhythms. Build high-performing, data-driven teams. Align resources to highest-value growth opportunities. **Demand Generation & Revenue Growth:** Own pipeline generation, lead acquisition, campaign performance, events, content, digital marketing, and demand-generation channels. Establish effective lead-generation and qualification processes with Sales. Use data, market intelligence, and customer insights to optimize marketing investment and improve conversion. Develop reporting and attribution models demonstrating marketing contribution to pipeline and revenue. **Executive Leadership:** Serve as strategic member of Senior Leadership Team contributing to corporate strategy and growth initiatives. Support CRO and CEO with board reporting, business performance updates, GTM metrics. Provide analysis of marketing performance, pipeline contribution, market trends, risks, and opportunities. Help establish scalable processes for PE-backed growth environment. Partner with Finance on budgets, forecasting, resource allocation, and ROI. **Market & Customer Insight:** Maintain strong understanding of municipal/government technology market, customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends. Develop market intelligence informing corporate, product, sales, and GTM decisions. Strengthen relationships with industry organizations, strategic partners, and key market influencers. Leverage customer insights to improve positioning, messaging, and customer experience. **Requirements:** - 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience with significant B2B SaaS or technology marketing experience - Demonstrated experience building and executing growth-focused GTM strategies tied to revenue and pipeline outcomes - Experience leading multiple marketing disciplines and ideally Business Development/BDR functions - Experience in PE-backed, high-growth, or investor-driven environment (strongly preferred) - Experience working closely with Sales and executive leadership to create integrated revenue strategy - Strong understanding of SaaS demand generation, marketing operations, CRM, digital marketing, content, brand, and performance analytics - Experience developing and presenting executive-level and board-level reporting - Proven ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing teams through periods of growth and change - Experience in GovTech, public-sector technology, enterprise software, or selling into municipalities/government (asset) - Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills - Exceptional communication, influencing, and executive presence
