- Deliver conference talks, meetups, webinars, podcasts, and video content, with CFP support and coaching
- Participate actively in the PagerDuty community and external spaces discussing operations, reliability, and AI engineering; support developer events
- Route developer feedback back to internal teams with actionable context
- Build and maintain systems enabling engineers, product marketers, and community champions to communicate effectively at scale
The role is hybrid, requiring presence in the Toronto office two times per week. Travel up to 25% of the time is expected for conferences, meetups, and team gatherings.
Requirements:
- Experience in developer advocacy, developer relations, community, solutions engineering, support engineering, SRE, or another technical role accountable to developers
- Demonstrated technical credibility with live demonstrations and real-world execution
- Experience carrying a pager and informed opinions on incident management and reliability processes, especially with AI involvement
- Proficiency in 1–2 programming languages, familiarity with APIs, and ability to quickly become productive in unfamiliar environments
- Public body of work (writing, talks, demos, code repositories, videos, or streams)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across multiple formats
- Active participation in technical developer communities
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience engaging with security-conscious or compliance-heavy developer audiences
- Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks or modern AI tooling
- Experience running production systems at scale
- Track record of contributing to open source projects
- Prior customer-facing experience in technical support or solutions engineering
