You will own the entire marketing function—demand generation, product marketing, and communications/events—with full accountability for pipeline contribution, market narrative, and marketing budget. You will lead a team of seven across the US and UK, setting direction and operating as one integrated go-to-market unit alongside the (Re)Insurance Sales and Broker Sales leaders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage the full marketing function with complete budget ownership, making real trade-offs between headcount, programmes, brand, and events
- Own a measurable marketing contribution to pipeline, reported consistently with metrics on pipeline sourced/influenced, conversion by stage, cost per opportunity, and programme ROI
- Refresh positioning and messaging for a technical analytics product and maintain consistent narrative across marketing, sales, and product
- Build stronger share of voice in cyber risk analytics across insurance/reinsurance media, analysts, and industry events
- Run marketing across US and European markets, managing a distributed team across time zones
- Lead and coach the team, retaining top performers and shaping team structure around the plan
- Partner closely with Sales and Product as a true go-to-market peer
You will be based in London with regular travel across the US and Europe.
Requirements:
- Proven marketing leadership across demand generation, product marketing, and communications/events with a team of comparable size and seniority; experience setting plans, allocating budgets, and being held to pipeline numbers
- Track record marketing complex software, data, or analytics into large enterprise buyers in B2B SaaS or analytics; experience with long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, technical evaluation, and six- to seven-figure ACVs
- International experience running marketing across US and European markets with a distributed team across time zones
- Full budget ownership experience with demonstrated ability to make allocation trade-offs and evidence return on investment
- Metrics-oriented mindset; comfortable running the function off numbers and being inspected on them alongside sales leadership
- Strong product marketing judgment; ability to shape positioning for technical analytics products and hold narrative consistency
- Commercial accountability; willingness to own numbers and comfort with forecast reviews
- Executive credibility; articulate on commercial arguments and trusted to carry company narrative
- High-accountability people leadership; sets clear expectations, gives direct feedback, raises bar on existing teams
- Strong editorial judgment; will not ship undifferentiated content
- Collaborative approach with low ego and high candor; comfortable disagreeing with executive team
Strong plus factors (not required):
- Experience marketing into insurance, reinsurance, or financial services (carriers, reinsurers, brokers, MGAs, Lloyd's market, banks, asset managers)
- Experience with direct enterprise sales teams, named accounts, and account-based marketing
- Track record building or materially raising a brand in a category that needed defining
- Experience running flagship industry event presence and executive speaking programmes
- Analyst and media relations experience with thought leadership built on proprietary data
- Experience scaling marketing function through step-change growth
- Comfort with AI-enabled commercial functions (AI-assisted content, agentic prospecting, automated reporting)
