The Nuclear Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to lead the engineering organization responsible for developing and executing a fleet of advanced nuclear power plants. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced nuclear professional with deep industry experience in design, construction, commissioning, operations, major projects, and asset management.
The VP, Engineering will build and lead an owner's engineering organization capable of integrating reactor technology, architect-engineer partners, EPC organizations, suppliers, utilities, regulators, and construction teams into a disciplined and repeatable delivery model. The role provides full lifecycle project support from early design through construction, commissioning, and operations.
Key responsibilities include leading the engineering organization, establishing engineering standards and processes, managing relationships with external partners (A-E firms, EPCs, suppliers, utilities, regulators), overseeing project execution and delivery, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The VP will work closely with executive leadership to align engineering strategy with company objectives and contribute to the development of The Nuclear Company's operating system and processes.
