Wonderful is seeking a Vertical Product Manager to own the company's solutions for travel, transportation, and hospitality industries—airlines, hotel groups, rail and ground transport, car rental, cruise, and travel technology platforms.
In this role, you will drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for travel and hospitality solutions, transforming field experience into a repeatable, scalable catalog that sales can pitch from day one and deployment teams can execute rapidly across markets. You will identify the highest-value repeatable solutions by synthesizing customer feedback, field input, and market research, then convert one-off customer builds into productized offerings in partnership with HQ product groups and R&D.
You will own the complete go-to-market strategy for each solution, including demos, pricing, business cases, and reference deployments to win deals in pre-sale. You'll partner closely with marketing and sales on positioning and enablement, building deep expertise in airline, hotel, and transport operations, buyer needs, seasonality, and competitive dynamics.
A critical aspect of this vertical is designing for two modes: normal commercial operations (bookings, changes, upgrades, extras) and crisis scenarios (flight cancellations, storms, mass rebooking). Your solutions must handle both gracefully—a solution that only works on quiet days will not be purchased. You will define how each mode is measured and set performance requirements for volume spikes and plan rewrites.
You will own market rollout strategy for each solution, determining which countries to enter and in what order, what adaptations are needed per market, and how to grow penetration. Success is measured by total solution performance across all markets, not individual deals.
You will lead a cross-functional team of engineers and designers from discovery through production while maintaining team health, define and track metrics showing each solution's impact, and communicate progress to leadership. This role requires independent operation, strategic thinking, and clear communication with executive and technical audiences.
