Beacon Biosignals is transforming precision medicine for the brain through at-home EEG platforms and diagnostics. The company serves two primary markets: Life Sciences partners developing novel therapeutics for neurological, psychiatric, and sleep disorders, and a Diagnostics business building comprehensive at-home assessment platforms combining EEG and cardiopulmonary signals.
You will own the product roadmap and day-to-day decisions for Beacon's clinician- and site-facing web application—the primary interface through which clinicians, clinical research sites, and trial teams interact with the platform. Reporting to the Manager of Web Applications, you'll drive major development milestones for the next generation of web applications serving both diagnostic and clinical trial workflows.
Key responsibilities include: building deep knowledge of end users (clinicians, sleep technicians, site coordinators, investigators, sponsor teams) and translating their needs into product strategy; owning a dual-purpose product that serves diagnostic and clinical trial workflows, making clear decisions about shared versus specialized functionality; ensuring the web experience integrates coherently with devices, data pipelines, ML models, and adjacent software products; creating and evolving quarterly product roadmaps with clear requirements; collaborating with engineers, designers, data scientists, and ML teams on technical specifications and model presentation; conducting continuous discovery through usability testing and user interviews; delivering requirements through formal design controls in a regulated environment (using tools like Ketryx); balancing needs across clinical operations, regulatory/quality, and commercial teams; managing client-facing demos; and communicating progress, tradeoffs, and risks to stakeholders.
You'll work in a regulated healthcare environment, so familiarity with design controls, medical device software, and clinical trial systems is valuable. The role emphasizes user empathy, particularly for busy clinicians and site staff, and requires comfort with modern product tools including AI-assisted drafting and rapid prototyping.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years managing web-based software products
- Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with highly technical products (data platforms, analytics, ML-enabled applications)
- Experience working across engineering, design, and non-technical stakeholders, balancing competing priorities
- Healthcare, life sciences, or biotech experience strongly preferred, with ability to learn clinical context quickly
- Experience developing regulated software (medical device or clinical trial systems) under design control (e.g., IEC 62304) strongly preferred
- Experience designing for clinicians, clinical sites, or expert users is a plus
- Comfort with modern product tools (AI-assisted drafting, analysis, rapid prototyping)
