Airwallex is seeking a Venture Partnerships Manager to join its Growth & Startups team in San Francisco. This role focuses on expanding Airwallex's presence within the U.S. startup ecosystem by managing and developing relationships with venture capital firms and high-growth companies.
Key responsibilities include owning day-to-day engagement with existing VC partners to ensure alignment and value exchange, proactively identifying and cultivating relationships with new venture firms and emerging managers aligned with Airwallex's strategy, and representing Airwallex as an evangelist across the venture ecosystem at events and conferences. You will support the planning and execution of venture-focused events including founder dinners, panels, office hours, and ecosystem activations designed to increase Airwallex's visibility and mindshare. Additionally, you'll strengthen Airwallex's reputation as a trusted partner to the venture ecosystem through consistent, high-quality representation across all touchpoints.
Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, a proven track record in pipeline generation and outbound efforts, proficiency with CRM systems like Salesforce, and strong analytical and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include 3+ years in partnerships, ecosystem development, venture capital, or related roles within fintech, SaaS, or high-growth tech; demonstrated experience working with VC firms, startup founders, or accelerator programs; strong relationship-building skills with investors and founders across company stages; excellent external representation and communication abilities; experience supporting or executing events; strong organizational and execution skills; and comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
