Braze is seeking a Partner Development Manager to execute regional partnership strategies across the Americas, focusing on strategic technology partnerships with hyperscalers and cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, and Shopify. In this role, you will translate global partnership strategies into AMER-specific execution, driving pipeline and revenue growth for Braze while supporting each partner's commercial objectives. You'll report to the VP of Strategic Technology Partners and work closely with Global Account Leaders (who own relationships with individual partners) and Partner Sales Managers (who manage partner activity on specific customer opportunities). Key responsibilities include: executing regional partner development strategies by translating global initiatives into AMER-specific programs that unlock new revenue; owning AWS Marketplace growth by moving Braze from reactive to proactive engagement, managing commercial levers including co-sell relationships, pipeline quality, and partner funding/incentive programs; and driving enablement and evangelism within partner field organizations to build the case for Braze solutions. Success metrics include growing pipeline (PQLs plus sourced and influenced closed-won business) quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year; increasing ACV/TCV and transaction volume through cloud marketplaces; ensuring Braze account executives and partner field reps actively run marketplace motions; and maintaining clean, accurate partner pipeline data with healthy referral flows. You should bring 3-5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or cloud sales at a SaaS company, with hands-on experience managing hyperscaler and cloud marketplaces (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Snowflake) including their funding and incentive programs. Experience managing pipeline, forecasts, and sales motions in Salesforce is required. You'll need strong trust-building and stakeholder management skills, operational discipline, and the ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Product teams.
