The Corporate Development Analyst role supports Volta's strategic initiatives including fundraising, M&A, and partnership evaluation. You will work closely with senior leadership to analyze market opportunities, build financial models, and support execution of strategic transactions that drive company growth.
Key responsibilities include: building and maintaining financial models to evaluate potential transactions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives; conducting market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making; supporting due diligence processes for M&A, financings, and partnership opportunities; preparing materials and analysis for board meetings, investor updates, and leadership discussions; tracking and analyzing industry trends in AI infrastructure, data centers, and energy markets; collaborating with Finance, Legal, and business teams to gather data and support transaction execution; assisting with post-transaction integration and performance tracking; and supporting ad hoc strategic analyses requested by senior leadership.
You should have 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate development. Strong financial modeling and analytical skills are essential, along with a Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline pressure are required. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is necessary, with familiarity with data analysis tools a plus. Interest in AI infrastructure, data centers, or energy markets and ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment are important.
