Sardine is a fintech platform specializing in fraud prevention, compliance, and risk infrastructure. The company serves leading organizations including FIS, GoDaddy, Intuit, and Checkout.com with an agentic risk platform that unifies data across risk teams to stop fraud in real time and automate fraud and AML operations.
As a User Acceptance Testing Analyst, you will be responsible for evaluating complex systems, developing and executing comprehensive test plans, and ensuring the quality and performance of Sardine's software applications. You'll work closely with customers, business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to test, troubleshoot, and support product development across the company's API-driven platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with customers, business stakeholders, and product owners to understand user requirements and acceptance criteria
- Designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test cases for Sardine's dashboard, APIs, and mobile SDKs
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects, working with developers to ensure resolution before release
- Performing regression testing to ensure new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality
- Developing and maintaining in-depth product knowledge to predict, test, and prevent issues
- Staying updated on product enhancements, new features, and industry best practices
- Performing root cause analysis on defects or system failures
- Maintaining documentation of test cases, test scripts, results, and QA reports
- Providing technical support during release management cycles and troubleshooting deployment issues in cloud environments (GCP/AWS)
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, technical, self-sufficient, and thrives in fast-paced environments. This is a remote-first role with flexible work arrangements within the United States.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of experience in user acceptance or functional testing roles at banks or fintechs
- Experience supporting B2B SaaS products and/or working with banking infrastructure
- Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency with SQL (joins, queries across multiple tables)
- Understanding of REST APIs and experience with tools like Postman
- Ability to write evaluations for AI products
- Ability to write structured test plans and step-by-step manual test scripts
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in high-pressure situations
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies including functional testing, performance testing, automation testing, API testing, and user acceptance testing
- Strong communication skills to document findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Bonus: Prior experience performing testing in systems used by banks or governments
