Orbit Fab is building the foundational infrastructure for an in-space economy by pioneering Gas Stations in Space™ and RAFTI™ refueling technology. The company enables satellites to be refueled in orbit, reducing construction costs, increasing maneuverability, and extending operational lifespans. Since 2018, Orbit Fab has successfully launched three tankers to space and operates offices in both the US and UK. As an AIT (Assembly, Integration, and Test) Engineer, you will be a hands-on contributor to the build, development, and testing of refueling and orbital servicing hardware. Your work will focus on electrical, fluidic, and robotic test articles for spaceflight applications in support of upcoming missions. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the development of spaceflight hardware from early stages through qualification and acceptance - Writing and executing comprehensive test procedures for hardware in development, qualification, and acceptance phases - Developing quality control procedures for hardware build and test processes - Contributing to best working practices in a multi-disciplinary laboratory environment - Collaborating with cross-functional teams on hardware integration and validation This is an opportunity to work on cutting-edge space technology with direct impact on enabling a sustainable in-space economy.
