Razorpay is India's leading full-stack fintech company, processing $180+ billion in annualized transactions and powering millions of businesses across payments, lending, and financial services. The company operates across India, Singapore, and Malaysia, backed by top-tier investors including GIC, Peak XV Partners, and Tiger Global.
This role sits within the Infrastructure team and focuses on building AI systems that automate, heal, and optimize Razorpay's platform. Rather than bolting chatbots onto dashboards, you'll own end-to-end automation and AI initiatives that meaningfully reduce operational burden—agents that triage incidents, pipelines that self-remediate, copilots that compress multi-hour incident response into minutes, and automation that catches regressions before deployment.
Razorpay's infrastructure runs millions of payment transactions daily across payment routing, settlement, reconciliation, merchant onboarding, fraud detection, and lending. The stack spans multi-cloud (AWS primary, GCP for specific workloads), thousands of nodes across EKS clusters with service mesh and progressive delivery, Terraform + Atlantis for IaC, Argo CD for GitOps, and comprehensive observability via Prometheus, Thanos, Loki, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
You'll report to the Infrastructure team lead and own the full lifecycle—from problem statement through production deployment. This is not a traditional JD role; you have a mandate to identify and execute high-impact automation opportunities. You'll work closely with infrastructure engineers and platform teams to understand pain points, design AI-driven solutions, and ship systems that compound in effectiveness each quarter.
The ideal candidate has deep experience building production AI/ML systems, strong systems thinking, familiarity with cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes, and the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive projects with minimal hand-holding.
