Beacon Biosignals is seeking a Trial Site Solutions Director to develop, build, and scale the Beacon Trial Site Network (TSN), a strategic initiative that bridges the company's Clinical Trials and Diagnostics businesses. The TSN brings together hundreds of trial sites running studies with Beacon's Waveband EEG headband and hundreds of hospital systems and clinics using Home Sleep Tests for diagnostic purposes.
This Director will serve as the lead and coordinator of all TSN activities, reporting directly to the Chief Business Officer and working cross-functionally with Clinical Operations, Business Development, Diagnostics, Product/Engineering, Marketing, and Legal teams. Key responsibilities include:
**Strategy & Vision**: Define the multi-year strategic direction for the TSN, setting priorities and the long-term shape of the network in partnership with Life Sciences and Diagnostics leadership. Establish the product vision for TSN-supporting platform capabilities and translate requirements into a coherent roadmap.
**Network Operations**: Own the roadmap and operating model for the TSN, taking it from early framework to a fully operating network with clear offerings, targets, and milestones. Direct sourcing methodology for candidate sites and refine qualification and certification criteria for different membership tiers.
**Commercial & Relationships**: Define and own commercial terms of network membership, evaluating how membership carries economic value for both sites and Beacon. Own institutional-level relationships including health system contracting, IRB coordination, and master service agreements alongside individual investigator relationships.
**Enrollment & Pipeline**: Build and oversee patient recruitment capabilities using EHR-based matching, historical performance data, and site capacity. Match sponsor and study demand to qualified member sites and own the process that routes opportunities into the network.
**Cross-functional Coordination**: Work with engineering teams to prioritize platform capabilities, act as primary stakeholder for site-facing features on product roadmaps, and establish KPIs, review cadence, and governance structures.
**Communication**: Own the site-facing voice of the TSN, including outreach, onboarding, ongoing check-ins, recertification communications, and relationship management templates.
The role starts with no direct reports but will hire a supporting team with demonstrated success. This is a hybrid position with preference for candidates near Boston HQ or NYC hub, with some travel expected to sites, sponsors, and internal hubs.
