Xendit is a Southeast Asian payments infrastructure company processing millions of transactions monthly for SMEs and enterprises. The company is backed by top-tier VCs and recognized as one of Y Combinator's fastest-growing companies.
You will join as Treasury Manager, working closely with the Head of Treasury to build and operate Xendit's treasury function at scale. This is a highly hands-on role combining strategic oversight with day-to-day execution across a complex, multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Liquidity & Cash Management: Own daily and medium-term visibility over Group cash and liquidity across multiple entities and markets. Build and continuously improve cash forecasting models. Identify trapped or inefficiently deployed cash and develop optimization solutions. Define appropriate liquidity buffers and escalation frameworks. Improve the quality, speed and reliability of treasury reporting.
Intercompany Funding: Manage intercompany loans, settlements, repayments and interest calculations as Xendit expands across markets. Coordinate funding requirements across Group entities. Maintain clear documentation and controls around intercompany balances. Work with Tax, Legal, Accounting and Finance to ensure funding structures are appropriate. Develop scalable approaches to intercompany funding as the organization grows.
Banking Infrastructure & Relationships: Partner closely with the Financial Partnerships team on relationships with banks and financial institutions. Represent Treasury's requirements in banking discussions. Coordinate on bank selection, account structures, liquidity solutions, credit facilities and FX capabilities. Own or support bank account openings, closures, mandates and access controls. Improve account structures and usage across the Group. Resolve operational issues quickly when capital needs to move. Evaluate opportunities to improve banking stack, connectivity and automation.
FX & Financial Risk: Monitor Xendit's FX exposures and support execution of FX transactions and hedging strategies. Identify material transactional and balance-sheet exposures. Develop frameworks for managing currency risk. Monitor counterparty and concentration risks across banks and financial institutions. Support evaluation of deposits, credit facilities and other treasury products.
Controls & Governance: Maintain strong controls around liquidity, payments, banking access and treasury transactions. Develop and improve treasury policies and operating procedures. Partner with Accounting, Risk, Compliance, Tax, Legal and Internal Audit. Ensure treasury activity is properly reconciled, documented and reflected in financial reporting. Proactively identify and improve process weaknesses.
Function Building: Automate treasury workflows. Improve cash forecasting models and build treasury dashboards. Standardize processes across markets. Improve bank connectivity and payment workflows. Evaluate treasury management systems and tooling. Design better ways to manage liquidity across entities and currencies.
You will operate across multiple entities, currencies, banking partners and markets, often solving problems without obvious pre-existing answers. The role requires someone who combines strong treasury fundamentals with judgment, pace and bias toward action—someone who can operate in detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
