Yellow Card is the largest licensed stablecoin-based infrastructure provider operating across 60+ countries, offering stablecoin payment infrastructure, fiat settlement rails, wallet services, and custom local stablecoin issuance for emerging markets. This Treasury & Liquidity Specialist role sits at the center of Yellow Card's money movement operations, reporting to the Head of Liquidity & Custody.
You will own liquidity execution—ensuring capital is positioned correctly across banks, liquidity providers, and offshore accounts in the right currencies (USD, EUR, GBP, and local currencies) so that payouts, settlements, and trades proceed without interruption. Day-to-day responsibilities include executing fund movements between accounts, initiating wires/ACH/SWIFT transfers, trading with liquidity providers to convert stablecoin to fiat and vice versa, and reacting quickly when accounts run dry.
Key responsibilities:
**Liquidity & Cash Management:** Monitor account balances daily across banking partners and liquidity providers; proactively top up accounts to prevent payment blocks; execute offshore and local fund movements; initiate transfers within approval limits; trade with liquidity providers to rebalance exposure and fund payouts; assist with liquidity planning, projections, and capital cycle management.
**Banking & Liquidity Partner Relationships:** Serve as day-to-day point of contact for liquidity providers and banking partners across African markets, US, UK, and EU; coordinate wallet whitelisting and infrastructure changes; monitor counterparty exposure and settlement risk; escalate issues promptly.
**Settlement, Reconciliation & Reporting:** Reconcile liquidity provider and bank statements; investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and balance discrepancies; collect and maintain monthly statements for month-end close; maintain accurate records of all fund movements; support treasury risk reporting and dashboard generation.
**Ad Hoc Support:** Process and review customer refunds; support funding approvals for opex and payroll; partner with Finance, Compliance, and Product/Engineering on liquidity-impacting issues; document processes and cross-train team members.
You will work alongside the Liquidity and Pricing Specialist, who owns rate-setting and forecasting, while you focus on execution and accuracy.
