Stepful, a Y Combinator-backed workforce platform, is launching a Radiologic Technology A.A.S. program leading to ARRT (R) certification eligibility. The company partners directly with major health systems (NY-Presbyterian, Mt. Sinai, HCA, Providence, CVS, Walgreens) to build employer-sponsored RadTech programs where students train in partner facilities and employers build internal talent pipelines. As Program Director of record, you will serve as the academic leader responsible for program design, accreditation, compliance, and outcomes. You'll shape the curriculum and clinical playbooks that govern supervision and competency progression, ensuring students receive the practical learning required for credentialing. You'll own accountability for program completion rates, ARRT exam pass rates, and job placement outcomes, working with dedicated curriculum, operations, partnerships, and policy teams. Key responsibilities include supporting curriculum development to meet accreditor standards; leading clinical playbook development; owning program outcomes and tracking leading indicators; serving as the primary academic point of contact for ABHES compliance, including annual reporting and site visit readiness; supporting employer partner conversations as a clinical subject matter expert; hiring and developing didactic faculty, lab instructors, and clinical preceptors; and traveling to partner sites for feasibility assessments, lab observations, preceptor development, and accreditation visits (approximately monthly in 2026, scaling to up to 50% travel in 2027). You'll have the option to instruct the first cohort either virtually or as a clinical educator on-site. This is a build role, not a maintenance role, for someone who wants ownership of program outcomes and the opportunity to shape a new academic program from the ground up. REQUIREMENTS: - Graduate from an accredited radiography program - Master's degree from a qualified institution - Current ARRT R.T.(R) certification - Prior Program Director experience of an accredited radiography program - 3+ years of full-time clinical experience in medical imaging - 2+ years of experience as an instructor in a program at a qualified institution - Familiarity with program accreditation and regulatory compliance, including JRCERT and ABHES accreditation requirements and process - Strong data and technical literacy, prioritizing leading indicators over retrospective metrics BONUS QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience building or launching a new academic program from the ground up - Direct experience partnering with employer or health-system stakeholders on workforce pipelines - Advanced degree (e.g., MEd, MHA) or certifications beyond ARRT R.T.(R) - Experience in a fast-growing startup or EdTech environment - Current Texas GMRT certificate from the Texas Board of Medical Radiologic Technology
