Salary: USD 85,000 - 101,000 / annual
Vuori, an athletic apparel brand blending performance and casual aesthetics, is seeking a Retail General Manager for its South Coast Plaza location in Costa Mesa, CA. This is a hands-on leadership role managing a retail sales team and driving customer experience excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Experience & Sales Leadership
- Lead the sales team by example, ensuring every customer receives exceptional service
- Own the sales floor and prioritize customer experience as the top priority
- Provide expert product knowledge and honest feedback on merchandise style and fit
- Build lasting customer relationships through follow-ups, product updates, and event invitations
- Stay current on new products and sales trends to inform both customers and team members
- Motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals in a commission-based environment
Business Operations & Inventory
- Lead shipment processing and inventory management
- Communicate inventory needs to support business objectives
- Maintain daily store operations including restocking, visual merchandising, re-ticketing, and cleaning
- Oversee opening and closing procedures with attention to safety and protocol
- Work closely with the Regional Manager on daily maintenance, sales strategy, community engagement, and team management
Team Leadership
- Guide employees to maintain high performance standards, punctuality, and role accountability
- Develop team members and encourage skill growth
- Foster a positive, high-energy retail environment aligned with Vuori's brand values
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week, including at least one weekend day. Morning and/or evening availability required.

- Proven leadership in punctuality and attendance
- Strong customer service expertise with ability to build relationships and handle concerns proactively
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner of new procedures and processes
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Responsive to feedback and eager to develop new skills
- Ability to lift and move products/equipment up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to stay active, reach, bend, and use step stools/ladders as needed
- Comfortable working in a bright, music-filled retail environment
- Team player mentality in fast-paced retail setting
