Salary: CAD 46,000 - 55,000 / annual

Aviso Wealth is a leading wealth management and investment services provider for the Canadian financial industry, with approximately $145 billion in total assets under administration and management and over 1,000 employees. The company operates offices in Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal, serving credit unions, portfolio managers, investment dealers, insurance and trust companies, and introducing brokers across Canada. The Transfers Administrator will join the Transfers team, reporting to the Supervisor of Transfers. This role is responsible for the daily processing of transfer requests, reviews, approvals, and handling of escalated items. The successful candidate will be collaborative, eager to acquire knowledge and experience, and energized by working in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include: - Processing transfer in requests according to service level agreements - Monitoring the transfers mailbox and collecting incoming mail - Initiating new manual or ATON transfers in and transfers out, including internal transfers - Tracking status and following up on initiated transfers - Providing operational support for transfers to external institutions - Filing completed transfer documents and shredding printed documents - Reviewing and responding to transfer inquiries - Assisting and covering colleagues in the Transfers Department as needed - Handling special projects or other assignments as requested Aviso values a culture centered on four principles: We Care (doing the right thing for clients, partners, and colleagues), We Dare (challenging the status quo with bold ideas), We Share (collaborating openly and building meaningful relationships), and We Deliver (taking ownership and focusing on meaningful results). Requirements: - Post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience - Minimum 1-2 years of experience in back-office administration in a financial securities firm - Extremely detail-oriented and accurate - Strong problem-solving skills - Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet required deadlines daily - Strong team player within the department and across departments - Strong desire and initiative to become a subject matter expert over time and understand the functions of other Operations departments - Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) - Knowledge and experience with Dataphile, Fundserv, CDS, and DTCC is an asset - Fluency (written and spoken) in English is required; bilingual skills in French are an asset - Ability to work EST standard hours
