Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Construction Systems Specialist to serve as the product owner and administrator of its Project Management Information System (PMIS) within the Design & Construction organization. This role is central to enabling Anduril's mission of transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology by providing the operational infrastructure—factories, labs, secure facilities—needed to design and build cutting-edge defense systems. You will own the full lifecycle of the PMIS platform, from implementation through long-term sustainment. Key responsibilities include: **PMIS Product Ownership & Configuration:** Act as the true product owner, managing the system's configuration, roadmap, and day-to-day operations. You will configure and roll out new business processes and modules across portfolio and budget management, contracts and procurement, change orders, invoices and payment applications, document management, field management, and closeout. You'll partner closely with project managers, construction managers, and project controls to understand pain points and translate them into prioritized system improvements. **Project Setup & System Administration:** Stand up individual projects in the system with initial data entry, configuration, roles, and templates. You'll own user provisioning, role-based access, libraries, report configuration, and data integrity across the portfolio. You'll also build and maintain data import templates and lead the collection, import, and validation of project data for new and in-flight projects. **Integrations, Reporting & Data:** Manage integrations between the PMIS and Anduril's ERP, Airtable, and other systems to ensure financial and project data flow accurately and stay in sync. You'll partner with Corporate Technology to maintain, troubleshoot, and extend these integrations. You'll build and maintain reports and dashboards that give project teams and executives real-time visibility into budgets, commitments, risks, and status. **Training & Adoption:** Train all Anduril Project Managers and external Owner's Representatives on the system through group sessions and 1:1 support. You'll create and maintain training materials, standard operating procedures, and help resources; run helpdesk and office-hours sessions; and serve as the primary point of contact for user questions, troubleshooting, and escalations. **Implementation & Sustainment:** Play an active role in bringing the PMIS from build through go-live and into long-term sustainment. You'll help design business processes, configure the system, test workflows, and support pilot and full-team rollouts. You'll establish the ongoing cadence that keeps the platform reliable, secure, and continuously improving. **Future Systems:** Over time, expand your remit beyond the PMIS to additional construction technology tools (such as scheduling software), applying the same product-owner discipline to evaluate, implement, integrate, and drive adoption. **Requirements:** - Minimum 6 years of experience implementing, administering, or owning enterprise project management, project controls, or construction management software (e.g., Oracle Unifier/Primavera, Procore, Kahua, e-Builder, or similar). - Hands-on system configuration experience: ability to independently build and modify business processes, workflows, forms, reports, and user permissions. - Experience managing software integrations with ERP or financial systems, and a working understanding of how data flows between platforms (Oracle Fusion experience is a strong plus). - Product owner's mindset: ability to gather requirements from non-technical users, prioritize a roadmap, and translate business needs into system capabilities. - Strong training and communication skills: ability to teach busy project and construction managers to adopt new tools through group and 1:1 sessions, and produce clear documentation. - Comfort operating amid ambiguity and driving a platform from implementation through long-term sustainment. - Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time (international travel included) for select trainings and systems configurations. - Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilities. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Experience in construction, capital projects, or an Owner's organization (Owner's Representative, general contractor, or corporate real estate/construction). - Experience with advanced manufacturing-related or mission-critical facility projects. - Familiarity with construction financial processes: budgets, commitments, change orders, invoices/payment applications, and cost forecasting. - Experience with reporting/BI tools and low-code data platforms (e.g., Airtable, Power BI). - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
