Robinhood's Middle Office Trading team is seeking a Trading Specialist to support daily trading operations and drive operational excellence. In this role, you'll perform core middle office functions including expiration processing, account-level risk management, and customer-impacting escalation resolution. You'll independently identify process inefficiencies and design scalable solutions using SQL, Python, and AI tools to eliminate manual work and automate workflows.
You'll act as a point of contact for teammates on complex cases, partnering with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Experience teams to prioritize features, test trading product functionality, and drive cross-functional process improvements. The role includes supporting desks across Middle Office Trading with out-of-hours responsibilities and flexibility across multiple time zones. You'll build and refine AI-assisted workflows for risk reviews, reconciliations, data analysis, and regulatory inquiries, pushing adoption of these tools across the desk.
Required qualifications include active FINRA Series 7, Series 63, and Series 4 licenses (or equivalents), familiarity with Robinhood's Options Onboarding process, and demonstrated expertise in complex financial topics including options, equities, and margin. You must be comfortable working autonomously, multitasking, and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to work outside regular hours. Experience with SQL, Python, and AI tooling is a plus but not required.
The role is based in Lake Mary, FL, Denver, CO, or Chicago, IL with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.
