Sportradar's Managed Trading Services (MTS) team is seeking a Trading Analyst to join their Central London office. MTS is a premium end-to-end trading and risk management solution trusted by sportsbooks and lotteries worldwide.
In this role, you will be at the centre of live sports action, monitoring events in real time and reacting to market developments. Your responsibilities include:
- Monitor live sporting events and respond to market developments in real time
- Manage client risk exposure across a diverse portfolio of sports, competitions, and betting markets
- Analyse betting activity, market movements, and customer behaviour to identify opportunities and mitigate risk
- Investigate unusual betting patterns and provide insights into market activity
- Explore and interrogate betting data from a growing global client base
- Deliver timely and insightful responses to trading and betting-related enquiries
- Use data to create clear insights and reports on trading performance for stakeholders
- Continuously challenge existing approaches and contribute to improvements in trading performance, processes, and profitability
The role operates on a fully on-site, five-days-per-week model in Central London. You'll work in a collaborative environment with colleagues from offices across Europe, Asia, and the US, with exposure to various social events and team-building activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong familiarity with a wide range of sports, especially those popular in UK, European, and US betting markets
- Extensive knowledge of betting markets, odds structures, and risk management of core betting sports (UK, European, US)
- In-depth understanding of odds correlation between betting markets
- Exceptional mathematical skills with proficiency in Excel or SQL for odds analysis
- Experience working in a similar role within the sports or betting industry (advantageous)
- Dependable decision-making skills under time pressure in a trading environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using data visualization tools
- Ability to take immediate action in a fast-moving trading environment
- Initiative-taking team player, able to work with new teams
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
- Flexibility to work shift-based patterns
