The Production team within Content Operations collects, produces, and distributes sports data for pre-match, live, and post-match coverage across 93 different sports worldwide, delivering coverage for over 1 million matches annually. As a Sports Data Operator, you will be part of the global Production Operations team responsible for maintaining sports data collection and monitoring, data entry, verification, and quality assurance. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring and watching live sports streams from around the world across various sports, channels, and sources - Using sports data tools and systems to deliver fast, accurate real-time data for media outlets, betting operators, and consumer platforms globally - Verifying information across diverse sources to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy - Creating and managing outright match results during live tournaments and events, delivering real-time outcomes - Collaborating with an international network of data journalists to deliver elite sports coverage The role requires flexibility to work in shift patterns aligned with when sports events occur globally. You will work onsite in Leipzig with a collaborative team of colleagues from around the world. REQUIREMENTS: - Deep sports knowledge across multiple sports; ability to follow results and engage in sports conversations - Curious mindset with enjoyment of working with technology and learning how sports data powers global products - Ability to adapt quickly, switch between tasks, and maintain focus during high-pace periods - Strong computer and research skills with passion for learning new technologies - Commitment to integrity, strong work ethics, and hands-on approach to results - Good English (written and oral); additional languages are advantageous - Knowledge of betting/gaming scene is advantageous - Available to work onsite with flexibility for shift patterns - Career-focused mindset to grow in digital sports technology
