Salary: USD 95,000 - 152,950 / annual

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Territory Manager for Shockwave Medical Inc., based in the Los Angeles/Inland Empire region. Shockwave Medical develops Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) technology to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease, using proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves to address atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. In this field-based role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth within an assigned territory by developing and implementing sales strategies to promote Shockwave products to hospital personnel and physicians. Key responsibilities include: - Cold calling, prospecting, and building relationships to increase account revenue and customer satisfaction - Meeting with interventional cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and hospital decision-makers to understand their needs and product usage - Educating customers on products and clinical usage through presentations and demonstrations - Attending procedures and cases in catheter labs to advise on product usage and understand physician and OR staff needs - Achieving assigned sales quotas and revenue objectives - Partnering with clinical, field clinical, marketing, and R&D teams to identify and present selling opportunities - Maintaining detailed product knowledge and ability to discuss clinical applications at a high level with physicians - Managing timely reporting including sales summaries, expense reports, product tracking, and account targeting - Ensuring compliance with corporate, FDA, and medical device quality standards and ethics This is a commission-based sales role with a focus on hospital-based cardiovascular and interventional products. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Minimum 2 years' territory manager experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred); OR 3+ years' cardiovascular or interventional sales support experience - Successful sales experience in catheter technology with occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, or coronary sales experience (peripheral influence preferred but not required) - Ability to meet and exceed assigned sales plans on quarterly and annual basis - Capable of independently managing time, resources, and budget within assigned territory - Ability to establish and maintain relationships with customers, hospitals, and physicians - Ability to work in fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities - Must not be debarred by FDA for work in medical device business - Valid driver's license required - Ability to work independently and as part of a team with flexibility to changing requirements - Physical requirements: continuous sitting for prolonged periods (2+ consecutive hours in 8-hour day); ability to lift objects up to 25 lbs or more; work in air-conditioned and non-temperature-controlled spaces Required Skills: Business Planning, Pipeline Management, Revenue Growth, Sales Strategy Development, Territory Management Preferred Skills: Brand Marketing, Business Behavior, Communication, Cross-Selling, Customer Centricity, Customer Effort Score, Goal Attainment, Hospital Operations, Innovation, Lead Generation, Market Research, Medicines and Device Development and Regulation, Problem Solving, Solutions Selling, Sustainable Procurement, Vendor Selection
