Salary: USD 95,000 - 152,950 / annual

Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Territory Manager for Shockwave Medical Inc., a division focused on developing and commercializing Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) technology to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. This field-based role is responsible for driving sales growth and customer satisfaction within an assigned territory in the Los Angeles area. In this position, you will develop and implement sales strategies to promote Shockwave products to hospital personnel and physicians. Key responsibilities include cold calling and prospecting to build relationships, meeting with interventional cardiologists and vascular surgeons to understand their needs, and educating customers on products through presentations and demonstrations. You will routinely attend procedures in hospital operating rooms to advise on product usage and gain clinical insights. The role requires attaining assigned sales and revenue objectives, partnering with clinical, marketing, and R&D teams to identify opportunities, and maintaining detailed reports on sales performance, expenses, and account targeting. You will be expected to demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, speak clinically to physicians at a high level, and build solid customer relationships. The position involves managing your territory independently, including time, resources, and budget management. You must comply with all corporate compliance, FDA, and medical device quality standards. The role is field-based with continuous sitting for prolonged periods and may require lifting objects up to 25 lbs. A valid driver's license is required. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience - Minimum 2 years' territory manager experience in hospital-based life sciences (cardiovascular preferred), OR 3 years' cardiovascular or interventional sales support experience - Successful sales experience in catheter technology with occlusive vascular disease, endovascular, atherectomy, stent, or coronary sales experience (peripheral influence preferred but not required) - Ability to meet and exceed assigned sales plans on quarterly and annual basis - Capable of independently managing time, resources, and budget within assigned territory - Must establish and maintain relationships with customers, hospitals, and physicians - Ability to work in fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities - Must not be debarred by FDA for work in medical device business - Must have valid driver's license - Ability to operate as team member or independently with flexibility to changing requirements - Required skills: Account Growth, Building Trust, Clinical Decision Making, Customer Retention Management, Sales Solutions - Preferred skills: Brand Marketing, Business Behavior, Communication, Cross-Selling, Customer Centricity, Goal Attainment, Hospital Operations, Innovation, Lead Generation, Market Research, Problem Solving, Solutions Selling
