The Ride Platform (parent company of Outdoorsy, Ride, Wheelbase, and Roamly) is building end-to-end infrastructure for the operator economy—marketplaces to book, enterprise SaaS to manage operations, and insurtech to protect assets. The company enables millions of people to explore the world while helping independent operators build generational wealth.
As Product Marketing Specialist, you will connect product, customers, market, and growth strategy. You will own positioning, launches, and enablement primarily for Roamly (insurtech) and Ride (marketplace), while working across the entire portfolio. This is an AI-first role: a significant part of your work involves translating commercial strategy into structured context that AI systems consume—segment definitions, personas, pricing narratives, and tone guardrails—to keep AI-driven personalization aligned with strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
• Positioning & Messaging: Own value propositions, messaging hierarchies, and positioning tailored by segment (policyholders, fleet operators, renters, hosts, small businesses).
• Segmentation & Personas: Define and maintain segments and personas guiding marketing and sales efforts.
• Go-to-Market & Launches: Direct repeatable, tiered launch processes for new products, features, and market expansions; quarterback cross-functional GTM efforts.
• Sales & Channel Enablement: Create battlecards, decks, and training materials; manage objection handling for Roamly agents, call centers, partners, and Ride's B2B and fleet-operator motions.
• Competitive Intelligence & Win/Loss: Track competitive landscape (insurtech and marketplaces); run win/loss interviews and translate findings into positioning and enablement.
• Pricing & Packaging Narrative: Partner with Product and Finance on packaging, tiering, and willingness-to-pay; craft pricing stories.
• Voice of Customer & Research: Lead standing research agenda through interviews, surveys, and data to ground positioning in real customer needs.
• Structured Commercial Context for AI: Encode segments, personas, and pricing narratives as structured inputs for AI execution systems.
• Ecosystem Narrative: Own cross-sell story connecting renter, host, policyholder, and operator loops to compound value across portfolio.
Requirements:
• 5–7 years of product marketing or closely adjacent experience with demonstrated material business impact.
• AI fluency: daily use of AI tools and ability to translate strategy into structured inputs and prompts driving AI execution.
• Strong positioning and messaging craft; ability to articulate product essence and build scalable messaging hierarchies.
• Proven track record taking products and features to market end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with sales, channel, or agent enablement.
• Sharp competitive analysis and customer research skills.
• Comfort using data directly without waiting on analysts.
• Strong storytelling ability; ability to match message to medium and audience.
• Owner mentality; bias toward action; push for clarity and delivery.
Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience across both B2C marketplaces and B2B SaaS.
• Exposure to mobility, fintech, or insurtech.
• Comfort with messaging in regulated industries, specifically insurance advertising constraints.
• Familiarity with marketplace network effects or product-led growth.
