Norm AI is an agentic law company that has pioneered Legal Engineering—a process enabling lawyers to build and supervise domain-specific AI agents using proprietary no-code software tools. The company serves a client base with combined assets under management exceeding $30 trillion and operates alongside Norm Law, LLP, an AI-native law firm advising leading institutions across private funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and financial regulation.
As Senior Field ABM & Events Manager, you will build and execute Norm's field marketing and account-based marketing (ABM) strategy from the ground up. You'll partner directly with Account Directors, Forward-Deployed Legal Engineers, and C-Suite executives to design and run high-impact field programs that identify new opportunities, build brand trust, and accelerate deals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Defining the go-to-market strategy for field programs: determining what programs to run, where to show up, and how to win in the market
- Owning end-to-end execution of programs from conception through post-event follow-up
- Designing 1:1, 1:few, and 1:many field marketing experiences (conferences, client workshops, executive dinners, etc.) aligned to active opportunities and target accounts
- Driving cross-functional collaboration with sales, legal engineers, and executives to understand account dynamics and shape deal strategy
- Identifying and evaluating new conferences, owned events, and field tactics that effectively reach legal leaders
- Delivering measurable outcomes across executive access, account penetration, opportunity acceleration, and pipeline growth
Success milestones include: by 30 days, understanding Norm's GTM model and assessing current capabilities; by 60 days, presenting a prioritized field and ABM strategy with initial program concepts and budgets; by 90 days, establishing a clear roadmap and moving the first priority program into execution.
The role offers increasing scope, budget, and responsibility as the company scales. You'll work in a hybrid model (3-4 days per week in-office) with occasional travel (approximately 30%) for events and conferences. All team members at Norm AI are expected to be fluent in AI, actively using AI tools in day-to-day work to support thinking, creation, and problem-solving.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5-7+ years of experience in field, events, or ABM marketing
- Proven track record of building an events strategy from scratch, not simply managing an established calendar
- Creative and strategic thinking: ability to turn vague ideas or goals into concrete, compelling plans and execute them
- Exceptional executive presence and confidence engaging senior leaders as a peer, not just a planner
- Strong ownership mentality: ability to prioritize programming, move projects forward, and work quickly
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with AI, legal technology, regulation and policy, or other complex enterprise categories
- Established network across vendors, production, and event execution teams
- Experience managing an events program for a fast-paced, growing enterprise business
