Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join the Manufacturing Test organization, supporting the development of advanced defense systems including land, sea, and air platforms. In this role, you will develop and maintain test automation software that ensures product quality across complex, multiplatform systems. You will work with test executive software to systematically test products and generate analytics to improve development cycles. Key responsibilities include developing applications for Windows and Linux desktop environments, integrating cloud data and deployment features while maintaining security, generating automation scripts in Python for debug and prototype development, triaging issues and root-causing failures, and partnering with end-users to translate requirements into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints. You will champion automation initiatives to reduce operator time and instruction complexity through parallel execution, data acquisition, and automated deployment tools. The role involves working with complex cloud data systems and requires creative problem-solving to continuously improve automation methods, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, plus 4+ years of relevant industry experience. You must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance. Preferred qualifications include 8+ years of industry experience, expertise in Python software development, experience with low-level code and device libraries/drivers, CI/CD and DevOps automation, multi-disciplinary project work with electrical/mechanical/manufacturing engineers, automated testing at unit/integration/system levels, git version control, manufacturing or industrial software experience, knowledge of device communication protocols (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet), WPF and C# desktop application development, embedded systems experience, and proficiency with RESTful services in AWS/Azure infrastructure.
