Salary: USD 150,000 - 300,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) pioneering AI-driven solutions for diagnosing and managing coronary artery disease. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, is a non-invasive cardiac test that provides 3D models of coronary arteries to help clinicians assess blood flow impact. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been used for over 750,000 patients worldwide.
The Territory Sales Manager will serve as HeartFlow's representative within a specific geographic region (New Mexico/El Paso territory), responsible for driving sales of the FFR_CT product and expanding market penetration. This is a home-based position with 30-50% travel.
Key responsibilities include:
- Prospecting, quoting, and closing new business at healthcare facilities within the assigned territory
- Developing a pipeline of sales opportunities and scheduling calls with current and potential customers
- Managing the sales process for HeartFlow adoption at new centers
- Building and maintaining relationships with interventional cardiologists, cardiologists, radiologists, and other clinical decision-makers
- Educating customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and discussions
- Driving penetration within existing accounts by promoting the technology and building physician advocacy
- Achieving assigned sales goals and collaborating with the commercial team on adoption strategies
- Coordinating activities of a support team including CT Applications Specialists, Implementation Managers, and Field Billing Specialists
- Gathering customer feedback to inform product development and market strategy
- Managing all business activities in Salesforce.com
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of healthcare and/or B2B sales experience in a cardiology/cardiovascular environment
- Medical device sales experience required
- Proven track record of sales achievements and revenue generation
- Deep understanding of cardiovascular disease and established relationships with practitioners in the assigned region
- Experience developing and implementing go-to-market plans for new diagnostic or therapeutic areas
- Knowledge of physician education regarding new technologies
- Experience creating tactical sales plans for segmentation and adoption forecasting
- Technical aptitude to discuss and explain complex technology
- Salesforce.com or similar CRM experience
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Self-starter with high initiative and ability to work in fast-paced, adaptive environments
