Salary: USD 150,000 - 300,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) pioneering AI-driven solutions for diagnosing and managing coronary artery disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, is a non-invasive cardiac test that provides a 3D color-coded model of coronary arteries to help clinicians assess blood flow impact. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been deployed for over 750,000 patients globally.
The Territory Sales Manager will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a designated geographic region, responsible for driving adoption of the FFR_CT product and related solutions. This is a home-based role with 30-50% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute new business acquisition strategy within assigned territory, including prospecting, quoting, and closing deals with new healthcare centers
- Build and maintain relationships with interventional cardiologists, cardiologists, radiologists, and other clinical decision-makers
- Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and strategic discussions
- Drive penetration and usage expansion within existing accounts by promoting the technology and building clinical advocacy
- Achieve assigned sales goals and revenue targets
- Collaborate with the commercial team to develop territory-specific adoption and penetration strategies
- Coordinate activities of a cross-functional team including CT Applications Specialists, Implementation Managers, and Field Billing Specialists
- Gather customer feedback to inform product development and market strategy
- Manage all sales activities and pipeline in Salesforce.com
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of healthcare and/or B2B sales experience in a cardiology/cardiovascular environment
- Medical device sales experience required
- Proven track record of sales achievements and revenue generation
- Deep understanding of cardiovascular disease and established relationships with practitioners in the region
- Experience developing and implementing go-to-market plans for new diagnostic or therapeutic areas
- Knowledge of physician education regarding new technologies
- Experience creating tactical sales plans for segmentation and adoption forecasting
- Technical aptitude to discuss and explain complex medical technology
- Salesforce.com or similar CRM experience
- Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Self-starter with high initiative and ability to thrive in fast-paced, adaptive environments
