Salary: USD 60,000 - 95,000 / annual
Odeko is an all-in-one operations and technology platform serving over 20,000 independent coffee shops, cafes, and food establishments. The platform enables customers to purchase supplies from hundreds of national and local brands, track ordering trends, finance equipment, and access insurance—helping them increase revenue, reduce environmental impact, and save on cost of goods and vendor management time.
As a Territory Sales Associate, you will be the revenue leader for your assigned city in the Northeast, driving growth through new customer acquisition and account expansion. You will identify and secure commitments from independent coffee shop owners, onboarding them to Odeko's local supply delivery service. Using Odeko's data-driven prospect database, you will develop new client relationships to accelerate market penetration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving monthly revenue goals through new customer acquisition and account growth
- Securing commitments from independent coffee shop owners and managing their onboarding
- Leveraging prospect data to build high-impact client relationships
- Owning the full customer relationship lifecycle (pre- and post-sales), focusing on retention, upselling, and in-person cafe visits
- Collaborating with Operations and Support teams to resolve customer issues quickly
- Maintaining detailed CRM records in HubSpot to track activity and enhance customer experience
- Partnering with vendor partners on local coffee events and sampling campaigns
- Serving as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, advocating for product/process improvements
- Staying current on local and national specialty coffee industry trends
This is a field-based role covering the Northeast, with primary focus on the NY/NJ Metro area or Boston Metro area. You will work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a 400+ person team united around supporting small businesses.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of relevant sales, account management, business development experience, OR local coffee community leadership experience
- Proven ability to discover and close sales opportunities and build client relationships
- Self-directed and comfortable operating in a constantly evolving environment
- Experience successfully managing a sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets
- Ability to deliver client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Passion for coffee and small business (coffee industry background is a bonus)
