The Territory Manager leads the management and expansion of a partner business portfolio and associated sales revenue while building strong relationships with sales teams and store decision-makers across the assigned territory. The role drives partner loyalty and satisfaction through innovative solutions, implements effective business strategies, and analyzes performance metrics to optimize operational efficiency and achieve established objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain business relationships with customers in the operating region, driving business growth, increasing revenue, and ensuring partners actively sell each month
- Maintain contact with partner administrators and decision-makers to address requirements and follow up on planning
- Improve partner sales team effectiveness by fostering deeper understanding of PayJoy offerings and strengthening overall customer experience through regular store visits and personalized sales staff training
- Manage sales representatives who support assigned partners
- Analyze and interpret data for decision-making, communicating progress, needs, improvement areas, and growth opportunities for assigned territories
- Research market conditions and analyze competitor performance to develop effective sales strategies for the assigned area; track sales trends to adjust plans and actions accordingly
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Administration, or IT
- Minimum 2 years of experience recruiting and activating new business partners in Customer Service, Field Sales, Software Sales, Telecommunications, or Smartphones/Retail industries, with demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives
- Experience managing a team of direct reports to achieve monthly sales targets
- Strong relationship-building skills enabling effective connection with retail partners and distributors to foster loyalty and collaboration
- Analytical skills to analyze sales data and market trends to develop viable strategies for revenue growth and partner support
- Strong communication skills: excellent verbal and written communication with ability to effectively train and engage diverse sales teams and partners
- Knowledge of CRM tools such as Zoho, Smartcube, or similar; office suite and Google Suite
- Own vehicle and availability to travel
