Ophelia is a venture-backed healthtech startup providing FDA-approved medication and clinical care for opioid use disorder (OUD) through a telehealth platform. Operating in 14 states for nearly six years, the company is expanding its community partnerships to increase patient access to evidence-based treatment. As Partnerships Manager for the NYC region, you will be the primary liaison between Ophelia and community organizations, healthcare providers, patient advocates, and local leaders. Your core mission is to build a high-volume referral engine that connects individuals with OUD to Ophelia's telehealth services. Key responsibilities include: **Partnership Acquisition & Management**: Proactively identify, prospect, and pitch Ophelia to new referral sources. You will manage a high-volume pipeline, moving organizations from cold outreach to active partnerships. Nurture and scale existing partnerships to ensure clinical and philosophical alignment with Ophelia's mission. **Field Engagement**: Spend the majority of your time in the field meeting with healthcare providers, community leaders, and patient advocates. You will identify barriers to treatment access and solidify Ophelia's presence in local communities. **Data & Performance Analysis**: Use CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot) to track activity, conversion rates from referral to patient, and ROI on partnership outreach. Analyze which partner types yield the highest patient conversion and adjust strategy accordingly. **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Work with marketing, commercial, clinical, product, and operations teams to achieve outreach and market penetration goals. Collect and integrate feedback from community partners to refine referral strategies. **Requirements**: 2–5 years of experience in business development, partnership development, medical sales, or account management. You must live in NYC and be able to travel locally using public transportation. Self-starter mentality with proven ability to craft and execute outreach strategies independently. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy for vulnerable populations, and ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information. Preferred: experience in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment community with existing relationships.
