The Technology Manager role is based in India and reports into the Technology team, which builds the systems and infrastructure powering Revolut's platform. This is a hands-on management position overseeing technology operations and strategy at the local level while collaborating with global teams across Operations, Product, and other functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive local technology architecture and ensure the tech stack complies with Indian regulatory requirements
- Implement IT and data strategy, including new infrastructure setup and ongoing IT transformation
- Oversee customer migrations and coordinate related transformation programmes
- Manage IT governance, including frameworks, Board presentations, and representation in key group committees
- Build and maintain a global, reliable, and scalable tech ecosystem
- Ensure readiness for regulatory and information security audits
- Coordinate operational model setup, migrations, and process improvements
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in IT architecture roles within financial services
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., engineering)
- Deep familiarity with Indian regulatory and security requirements, including cybersecurity, outsourcing, risk management, and data risk
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Hands-on experience with IT systems and related technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and people-management skills
- Fluency in English
