ORDR is seeking an experienced Technical Support Engineer (6+ years) to own complex technical issues end-to-end for enterprise customers in networking, SaaS, security, and IoT/IoMT/OT environments. You will lead high-impact customer escalations, troubleshoot enterprise networking issues (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ARP, VLANs, routing/switching, SNMP, SPAN/TAP), and analyze logs, packet captures, and system behavior to determine root causes. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting Linux-based appliances and enterprise infrastructure, diagnosing SaaS and REST API issues (authentication, certificates, third-party integrations), reproducing customer issues with clear evidence for Engineering, and communicating technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and runbooks while mentoring other engineers and continuously improving support processes to reduce repeat incidents and improve time-to-resolution. Required: 6+ years in Technical Support Engineering, Systems Engineering, Network Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or similar production-environment roles. Strong enterprise networking fundamentals, Linux troubleshooting and command-line skills, REST API troubleshooting (HTTP/HTTPS, SAML, OAuth, certificates), VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter experience, and hands-on proficiency with Wireshark, tcpdump, curl, Postman, and log analysis. Proven track record handling production issues and high-severity escalations with urgency and ownership. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred: IoT, IoMT, OT, network security, or network visibility domain experience; enterprise network management/monitoring platforms; familiarity with Kafka, Cassandra, PostgreSQL, or distributed systems; ticketing/support tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk). Ideal candidate is a strong technical troubleshooter who follows problems from network traffic to application behavior, uses evidence rather than assumptions, takes ownership of customer outcomes, and explains complex technical issues clearly during escalations.
