This Technical Support Engineer role sits at the intersection of technical problem-solving and customer impact. You'll develop deep expertise in the Iterable platform and its underlying systems, serving as a key escalation point for complex issues from frontline support teams. You'll collaborate with Support, Engineering, and Product teams to surface bugs, resolve urgent issues, improve internal tools, and handle complex data requests beyond self-service capabilities.
Key responsibilities include becoming a subject matter expert on the Iterable platform and building internal tools for customer-facing teams; serving as an internal escalation point for high-complexity support issues; querying databases to troubleshoot issues and provide data insights; collaborating with Engineering on API integrations and custom tooling; analyzing support trends to identify improvement opportunities; developing dashboards, automation scripts, and troubleshooting utilities; and documenting findings for the knowledge base.
You'll need 1-3 years of technical support engineering or similar experience, proficiency in scripting or programming languages, strong understanding of APIs with hands-on debugging experience (Postman, browser dev tools), familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS), and working knowledge of email deliverability concepts (DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC). The role is based in Denver with a global team across San Francisco, London, Sydney, and Lisbon.
