Adyen is a global financial technology platform providing payments, data, and financial products for enterprise customers including Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. This Technical Support Engineer role is based in São Paulo with a hybrid arrangement (3 days on-site in Morumbi). You will serve as the first point of contact for Adyen's merchants globally, handling financial-related issues including reconciliation, payouts, payment settlements, and payment status inquiries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide reactive and proactive support to merchants and commercial teams in Portuguese and English via email and phone
- Educate merchants' financial teams on platform features and financial products to maximize value
- Analyze merchant pain points and collaborate with Finance Product and Development teams to improve or build new solutions
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Adyen's platform, APIs, integration methods, and industry best practices
- Manage the full merchant lifecycle from integration through expansion and operational excellence
- Act as an internal product advocate, tracking processes and feeding merchant feedback to product teams
You bring at least 3 years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer, Technical Solutions Consultant, or equivalent role with exposure to payments or financial products. You have strong technical acumen with APIs, Postman, HTML, JavaScript, and scripting. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese, strong analytical and finance skills, and the ability to make quick informed decisions under pressure. You are self-driven, flexible, and comfortable working in ambiguous environments with minimal supervision.
