The Technical Solutions Engineer role sits at the intersection of client services and technical integration. You will own the end-to-end onboarding process for institutional clients, exchanges, and liquidity providers onto the Talos platform, from initial kickoff through successful production deployment. This is an implementation-focused position, not a production support role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end onboarding for clients and trading counterparties, ensuring seamless connectivity and successful deployment of trading infrastructure
- Leading technical integrations involving APIs, FIX connectivity, and platform configuration
- Partnering with Sales, Account Management, Engineering, and external stakeholders to deliver implementations on schedule
- Managing onboarding timelines, tracking milestones, and communicating progress to internal and external stakeholders
- Configuring and validating client environments across Talos' modular trading and portfolio systems
- Troubleshooting integration issues and coordinating resolution with internal engineering teams
- Developing and maintaining onboarding documentation and integration best practices
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in client onboarding or implementation within capital markets or fintech
- Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to lead stakeholders through structured implementation processes
- Experience with institutional trading systems, market connectivity, or financial infrastructure
- Working knowledge of SQL and command-line environments
- Familiarity with configuration management, source control, and basic scripting (Python preferred)
- Exposure to FIX protocol, REST APIs, and JSON-based integrations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations
Preferred experience includes onboarding clients to trading, OMS, EMS, or portfolio systems; understanding of capital markets workflows; and experience coordinating integrations across exchanges and institutional counterparties.
