Highway is the fastest-growing freight tech provider in North America, serving major freight brokers by solving carrier identity verification, fraud prevention, and supply chain transparency. As a Technical Solutions Engineer, you will be the bridge between Highway's products and our customers, owning the implementation and integration lifecycle.
You will work directly with freight broker customers on product implementation, including API integrations, go-live coordination, and technical configuration. Key responsibilities include:
• Leading customer implementation projects and tracking milestones to meet business deadlines
• Integrating Highway's APIs into customer systems; experience with Postman or ReadMe is preferred
• Owning technical configuration, troubleshooting, and customer readiness activities
• Participating in product demonstrations and pre-sales meetings to answer technical questions
• Collaborating with internal and external development resources to resolve integration challenges
• Managing customer expectations and delivering on agreed timelines
This is an in-office, exempt position reporting to the Solutions Engineering Manager in Dallas, TX.
Qualifications:
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to manage customer expectations and meet implementation deadlines
• Highly organized with technical aptitude for software integrations and implementations
• Ability to read and interpret code
• SQL knowledge is highly preferred
• Familiarity with technical systems administration and database management is highly preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work around customer requirements
• Works with urgency and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Excellent client engagement skills and understanding of customer needs and technical requirements
