Salary: USD 126,000 - 167,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced autonomy, AI, and sensor fusion, seeks a Technical Security Application Engineer for its manufacturing operations. This hands-on technical role focuses on the installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of physical access control systems (PACS) and video surveillance systems (VMS) across Anduril's sites, with particular emphasis on Arsenal-1. You will own the reliability and performance of security systems in your area of responsibility, performing day-to-day technical problem-solving and supporting small-to-medium technical security projects. Key responsibilities include installing and configuring access control hardware (readers, controllers, door hardware, panels, credentials) and video surveillance hardware (cameras, intercoms, emergency intercoms); performing application-level configuration and administration of access control and video management systems; diagnosing and resolving system, hardware, and network-related issues; supporting deployment, commissioning, and upgrades of technical security systems; coordinating with vendors and integrators on installations, service calls, and warranty issues; assisting in managing technical security projects including scheduling and status reporting; performing preventative maintenance and health checks; configuring and troubleshooting networking components supporting security systems (IP addressing, VLANs, switches, PoE, firewall/port configuration in collaboration with Network Engineering); creating and maintaining technical documentation, as-builts, wiring diagrams, and SOPs; maintaining accurate device inventory and hardware/spares stock; and communicating clearly with internal stakeholders on project progress and system issues. Required qualifications include 5+ years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting physical access control and/or video surveillance systems; extensive experience with Genetec Security Center; certification in Omnicast and Synergis; experience troubleshooting hardware, cabling, and low-voltage systems; ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, floor plans, and technical documentation; experience working with vendors and integrators; strong communication skills; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; and familiarity with low-voltage cabling standards and structured cabling best practices. Preferred qualifications include 7+ years in technical security systems with focus on access control and intrusion detection; experience supporting systems across multiple or global sites; strong project management skills and experience with large-scale implementations and upgrades; and existing active SECRET clearance.
