Founded in 2018, the company uses generative AI and Linked Evidence technology to help providers trust and verify AI-generated clinical documentation while improving efficiency and enabling clinicians to focus on patient care.
As a Technical Recruiter, you will own the full recruiting lifecycle for Platform Engineering and Machine Learning roles, from sourcing and screening through offer negotiation and closing. You'll partner strategically with Engineering leadership to understand technical requirements, team dynamics, and hiring priorities. Your responsibilities include sourcing passive candidates through creative outreach and networking, driving inclusive recruiting practices that attract diverse talent, enhancing Abridge's employer brand within the technical community, optimizing recruiting processes for efficiency and candidate experience, and providing data-driven insights on market trends, compensation benchmarks, and recruiting metrics to inform hiring strategy.
This role is critical to Abridge's growth plans to double team size this year. You'll work alongside a passionate, innovative team transforming healthcare through AI, with offices in San Francisco's Mission District, New York's SoHo neighborhood, and Pittsburgh's East Liberty.
The position is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in the San Francisco or New York City office, with flexibility for remote work on other days.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience at fast-growing startups or high-growth technology companies
- Proven track record of successfully recruiting senior-level Engineering and Machine Learning talent in competitive markets
- Strategic partnership skills with experience being a trusted advisor to hiring managers, challenging assumptions, and driving high-quality hiring decisions
- Business acumen to assess team skill gaps, determine optimal role requirements, and understand how new hires impact team performance and business outcomes
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to build rapport with technical candidates and articulate complex role requirements clearly
- Strong project management abilities with proven experience juggling multiple priorities, managing stakeholder expectations, and communicating decisions across audiences
- ATS proficiency with hands-on experience using and optimizing recruiting technology and tools
- Passion for healthcare technology and understanding of how AI can transform patient outcomes
