AlphaLife Sciences is an AI-enabled clinical research platform founded by former Google and Verily China experts. The company's flagship product, AuroraPrime, integrates generative AI and large language models into a SaaS platform trusted by global pharmaceutical and biotech companies to accelerate drug development and clinical trials.
You will own delivery across multiple client projects simultaneously, serving as the primary bridge between clients, the US team, and China-based technical counterparts. This is a high-visibility role where leadership relies on you for accurate, current visibility into project priorities and resource allocation across the company.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple enterprise client projects concurrently, keeping each on timeline and escalating priorities based on client need
- Serving as client-facing project lead, partnering with the China-based technical team to align global resources
- Building and running a prioritization process for client feature requests, assessing priority against product strategy and assigning work to product managers
- Capturing ambiguous client requirements and translating them into actionable, prioritized tasks
- Providing leadership with clear visibility into project priorities and internal resource allocation
- Helping internal teams understand upcoming projects and resource commitments to prevent overcommitment
- Balancing client expectations against R&D capacity and aligning global resource planning
- Working cross-functionally with Business Development and Product Specialists, grounded in product roadmap knowledge
- Staying hands-on: investigating bugs and feature behavior to understand client experience
- Developing deep product expertise in AuroraPrime across multiple document types
Requirements:
- 8–12 years of project management experience, ideally with enterprise SaaS products
- Technical background required; consulting experience a plus
- Ability to quickly grasp complex business processes and anticipate broad impact of changes in live systems
- Strong people skills: ability to negotiate priority setting, adapt under pressure, and articulate decisions clearly to clients, leadership, and engineering
- Detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with Jira or similar project management tools
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment
- Nice to have: experience in life sciences or regulated industries; familiarity with AI/LLM-powered products
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
