Candid Health seeks a Technical Program Manager - Implementation to serve as the connective tissue between Engineering, Product, and Operations teams. This high-impact role is designed for someone who thrives on organization and can navigate the complexities of a fast-growing platform.
You will be responsible for taking high-level business objectives and breaking them down into technical milestones, ensuring that the EPD (Engineering, Product, Design) teams are aligned with Operations and Implementation goals. You'll ensure that as the product grows more complex, the ability to deliver it to customers remains seamless.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Orchestration: Lead planning and execution of large-scale initiatives. Create roadmaps, define milestones, and track progress across multiple teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Bridge Operations & EPD: Act as the primary point of contact for Operations teams. Translate customer implementation needs into technical requirements and manage the rollout of new features to stakeholders.
- Master Cross-Functional Integration: Map and manage complex interdependencies between core infrastructure and customer-facing workflows. Identify technical and operational bottlenecks early to ensure platform updates and large-scale implementations move forward without friction.
- Risk Mitigation: Anticipate bottlenecks and technical risks before they escalate. Facilitate trade-off discussions between speed of delivery and technical debt.
- Visibility & Communication: Provide clear, concise updates to leadership on program health, resource allocation, and core KPIs.
You are an experienced program leader who is technically fluent (comfortable in technical environments, understanding APIs, databases, and cloud infrastructure). You excel at distilling complex technical updates into clear status reports for non-technical stakeholders. You have an operational mindset with a bias toward action, building systems that enable others to do their jobs effectively. You are a natural relationship builder who can influence teams without direct authority, staying calm under pressure while navigating shifting priorities.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or similar role
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects from inception to launch
- Proficiency with project management tools (Jira, Linear, Asana, etc.) and documentation software (Confluence, Notion)
- Strong analytical skills; use data to drive decisions and measure project success
- Experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment is a major plus
- Technical fluency (no engineering background required, but comfort in technical environments essential)
