Lambda, a leader in AI cloud infrastructure serving tens of thousands of customers from researchers to enterprises and hyperscalers, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to own the integrated delivery program for new data center builds. You will serve as the single source of truth for milestones, risks, and dependencies from site handoff through construction, commissioning, operational readiness, and turnover to Network Deployment. You will lead internal teams and external partners (general contractors, design firms, utilities, vendors) across site work, utilities, shell, MEP systems, controls, white space, inspections, and commissioning. The environment is characterized by high ambiguity, compressed timelines, and stakes central to company growth. As Lambda scales beyond initial sites, you will help build the playbooks and governance to run many concurrent deployments effectively. Key responsibilities include: owning the integrated schedule from site handoff to Operations with clear workstreams and milestone ownership; driving the delivery sequence from rack requirements through engineering, design, permitting, construction, commissioning, and turnover for MW-scale, high-density capacity including liquid-cooled systems; leading cross-functional execution across Real Estate, Energy and Utilities, Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management, Commissioning, Operations, Security, Finance, and Legal; maintaining risk registers, dependency logs, decision trackers, and schedule variance reports; escalating risks early with facts and mitigation options; holding partners accountable to contractual commitments while maintaining relationships; communicating status to leadership; defining and delivering clean handover criteria; building repeatable playbooks and dashboards across concurrent deployments; and traveling approximately 40% to sites to validate progress and build relationships. You will own site-level delivery program management, the integrated schedule, cross-functional coordination, milestone and risk tracking, variance reporting and escalation, and Operations readiness. You will partner on but not own site selection, engineering design authority, construction means and methods, commissioning authority, procurement strategy, network deployment, and steady-state operations. Requirements: 7+ years in data center delivery, infrastructure or construction program management, mission-critical facilities, or large capital projects. Demonstrated delivery of ground-up data centers or comparable mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, or energy facilities, ideally multi-site on compressed timelines. Knowledge of the full lifecycle: site handoff, permitting, design, utilities, procurement, construction, MEP, controls, commissioning, and turnover. Ability to run integrated schedules, critical path analysis, dependency logs, and change control with rigor. Technical acumen to spot risks, ask precise questions, and escalate without owning design authority. Proven ability to align partners, vendors, and engineering teams around shared deliverables and bridge physical infrastructure with network and security teams. Capacity to make sound decisions with incomplete information under schedule pressure and communicate status clearly to executives. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Nice to have: hyperscale, AI/GPU, cloud region, or high-density compute delivery experience; utility interconnection, substation, MV/HV power, and liquid cooling experience; work with colocation providers, general contractors, EPCs, commissioning agents, and permitting authorities; PMP, construction management, engineering, or project controls certification.
